[Germany] The Gospel at the End of the Earth
Updated: Aug 18, 2020
Christian Leaders Fellowship took place at 3pm at Best Western Hotel.
Present at CLF in Germany was the president of the Portuguese Christian Union, Romanian Gospel Church Youth President, President of Finnish Cameroon Society and 100 more pastors representing many different denominations.
The program began with Missionary Jang Juhyun introducing the event. Missionary Jang testified about how when he accepted Romans 11:26 which read ‘All of Israel will be saved’ into his heart the work of Jews, who were strictly tied down to keeping the law, being saved began to arise. And through this participants were able to open their hearts.
The performance by the Gracias Choir softened the atmosphere further.
Soon after when Pastor Ock Soo Park came out to preach people received him with a great round of applause.
Pastor Park began his message with the story of a brother who was hospitalised due to cancer. When he visited this brother’s hospital room the brother as well as his family had already reached the point of death in their hearts and were sitting there without any strength. At that moment pastor had the heart that if ‘Jesus had been here he would have saved this brother,’ and he shared this heart with the brother.
He took the example of the man with the infirmity for 38 years and said that if Jesus tells you to ‘rise take up your bed and walk,’ that means all conditions necessary to do so have already been met. The man who was sick for 38 years thought ‘I cannot walk but Jesus is telling me to walk, then that means I can walk.’ Before this sick man heard the word of Jesus, he never thought that he could walk, but after hearing the word his heart changed and he was able to rise.
Even in the heart of the brother who was hospitalised he was able to cherish the heart that, ‘God has come to save us. Then Jesus will cure me, then he will heal me.’ Therefore, he was quickly healed from his illness and as the audience heard this testimony they responded with a round of applause.
Also, he spoke about if you are bitten by a venomous snake, there is no antidote, so most people die, in the same way there is no cure for the darkness in our hearts. Just like the word in Genesis that says that ‘I am the light of this world’, he stated that if Jesus is there, he will cast out that darkness. He said that he will cast out the darkness in the heart of the woman.
“When our hearts become one with Jesus, he comes inside of us and works in us. Electricity flows through wires and the work of God flows from heart to heart. When our hearts are one with the heart of God, that is what we call faith.”
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
He preached that what Christianity needs to learn is that Jesus has died on the cross for our sins and by believing as such, we become justified by faith as it is written in John 3:16, ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’
“Jesus justified us perfectly. Amen?”
“I am the President of the Aliança Evangelica Portuguesa in Portugal. I am so thankful that I am able to participate in the conference that the Good News Mission has prepared. The music of the choir in one word in astounding. The tradition gospel songs that are often forgotten about were so good and the harmony was just fantastic. I give glory to God who gave them such gifts, and I hope that they will be able to continue to do the work of the Gospel. If there is one thing that the many leaders that have gathered from all around the world must remember, is the fact of the forgiveness of sin. This is extremely important but we often forget about this.” (Antonio Calaim, the President of the Christian Union in Portugal)
“I am currently studying at university in Dusseldorf, Germany. I came because I wanted to hear the sermon of the CLF. I am so happy that I can be here. This is my first day and it think that I made a good decision in coming here. I have listened to Pastor Park’s sermon twice. He told me to no longer call myself a sinner. Because if I do, that renders the death of Jesus meaningless. We have no reason to ask for forgiveness when we pray. Because our sins have already been solved. To ask for forgiveness is to mock Jesus. All we have to do is accept the Word and leave in the hand of God. This Camp has been very well prepared. I am so thankful to be here.” (Mario/Bulgaria/21)
One by one, through the CLF, we are seeing the whole of Europe come together and the seed of the Gospel is being spread, one Christian Leader at a time.
